Douglas Lutterman Obituary

Douglas Henry Lutterman, 82, of Ronald, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on November 15, 2021.  Doug’s Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Snoqualmie Valley Eagles, 8200 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie, Washington.

Doug was born on November 23, 1938 in Worthington, Minnesota. He was raised in Puyallup and at age 18 he met the love of his life, Eileen. They were married on October 24, 1958 and celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year.

Doug had a distinguished career with the Boeing Company for 37 years and retired in 1994. He and Eileen moved to Ronald where they had built their retirement home and have resided there ever since. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, tinkering in his shop (fixing just about anything that was broken) and the great outdoors all of his life.  He was also a former umpire and an avid sports fan. He loved watching football and baseball. Doug was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great friend to many.

Doug is survived by his wife, Eileen; his sister, Stephanie; three children: Cindy Lutterman, Darcy Cooper (Matt), and Kelly Lutterman (Corine); six grandchildren: Justin, Kelsey (Daniel), Austin, Skyler, Angelica and Haley; and two great-grandchildren: Nolan and Colt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Luella, and his sister, Sherylynn.

The family would like to express their gratitude to KVH Hospice and Kittitas County Fire District #6.  Memorial contributions in Doug’s honor are suggested to either organization.
