Crystal Barrientos Rios

Nos entristece anunciar que Crystal Barrientos Ríos falleció en su casa el 3 de Noviembre de 2022 de un repentino ataque al corazón a la edad de 29 años. Crystal nació el 13 de agosto de 1993 en Ellensburg, Washington y vivió en Ellensburg toda su vida. Crystal asistió a la primaria Valley View, Morgan Middle School, y se graduó de la clase de 2012 de Ellensburg High School.

Crystal era una querida hija, hermana, tía y amiga y le sobreviven su madre Silvia, su padre Abad, su hermano Manuel, sus hermanas Kixcia, Jasmin, Kristina, Yeni y sus sobrinas Azlynn, Abby, Valentina, Yamilet y Asiyah, y su perrita Estrella.

Crystal era carismática y extrovertida y podía entablar una conversación con cualquiera. Le encantaba reír y era una luz brillante en la vida de quienes la rodeaban. Crystal tenía un corazón hermoso, amable y generoso y le encantaba hacer sonreír y reír a los demás.

A Crystal le encantaba leer, ver películas de Marvel y pasar tiempo con sus sobrinas. Ella era muy generosa y le encantaba dar regalos reflexivos a sus seres queridos. Le encantaba comer crema de cacahuate, pan de plátano, pasta, ceviche y birria. A Crystal le encantaba nadar y disfrutaba viajar a México para visitar a su familia. Crystal será extrañada y su memoria será apreciada por todos los que la conocieron.

La misa de entierro cristiano para Crystal Barrientos Rios se celebrará a las 9:00 a.m. el viernes 11 de Noviembre de 2022 en la Iglesia Católica de San Andrés en Ellensburg, con el entierro al seguir en el cementerio de Holy Cross.  El velorio para familiares y amigos será de 9:00 a.m. a 9:00 p.m. el jueves 10 de Noviembre en Johnston & Williams Funeral Home en Ellensburg.  Los amigos también están invitados a unirse a la familia en la funeraria a las 7:00 p.m. el jueves para rezar el Rosario.

We are sad to announce that Crystal Barrientos Rios passed away in her home on November 3, 2022 of a sudden heart attack at the age of 29. Crystal was born on August 13, 1993 in Ellensburg, Washington and lived in Ellensburg all of her life. Crystal attended Valley View elementary, Morgan Middle School, and graduated class of 2012 from Ellensburg High School. 

Crystal was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and is survived by her mother Silvia, father Abad, brother Manny, sisters Kixcia, Jasmin, Kristina, Yeni, and nieces Azlynn, Abby, Valentina, Yamilet and Asiyah, and her dog Estrella.

Crystal was charismatic and outgoing and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She loved to laugh and was a bright light in the lives of those around her. Crystal had a beautiful, kind, generous heart and loved to make others smile and laugh. 

Crystal loved to read, watch marvel movies, and spend time with her nieces. She was very generous and loved to give thoughtful  gifts to her loved ones. She loved to eat peanut butter, banana bread, pasta, ceviche, and birria. Crystal loved to swim and enjoyed traveling to Mexico to visit family. Crystal will be missed and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Ellensburg with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Viewing for family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 at Johnston & Williams Funeral Home in Ellensburg.  Friends are also invited to join the family at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday to pray the Rosary.
