Theresa E. Houle

Theresa “Terri” Houle, 87 a longtime resident of Cle Elum, Washington, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Terri was born in Orrin, North Dakota. In 1956 she moved to Monroe, Washington where she began a new chapter in her life.

On May 18, 1963, Terri married Howard Houle, beginning a marriage that would span more than 63 years. Together they built a life centered around family and the simple pleasures of home and eventually settled in the small town of Cle Elum, WA.

Terri enjoyed gardening, ceramics, and spending time outdoors. She found pleasure in working with her hands, creating beautiful things, and enjoying the natural beauty around her.

Terri’s family includes her four sons, Scott Houle (Joyce), Todd Houle, Duane Houle (Becky) and Steve Houle who passed away in 2021; and her grandchildren, Alexis, Hayden, Connor, Colton and Carlee.

She is also survived by her siblings Clem Massine, Ed Massine, Betty Morey and Tille Brockshmidt.

Terri was preceded in death by her brothers Fred, Dennis, Herman and Richard Massine, and her sisters Angie and Marlene.

Terri will be remembered by those who knew and loved her, and her memory will live on through the family and generations she leaves behind.

Private family services are planned in the future.
