Kittitas, Washington

Ronda L. Allphin, 68, of Kittitas, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Harborview Medical Center after a courageous battle with numerous health issues. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and joy – and reminder to all to live a vibrant and adventurous life filled with love, music, and deep devotion to family.

Ronda was born on January 16, 1957 in Lincoln, Nebraska, one of seven children born to Ronald & Sylvia (Zimmerman) Wolfe. Throughout her life, Ronda lived in many places across the United States, including Arizona, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, California, and her home state of Nebraska. She spent her early years as a waitress and later found a rewarding career as a truck driver. Her work reflected her adventurous spirit and unwavering work ethic.

Ronda married Gerald Allphin in 1977 and together they built a life filled with laughter and love. She had a deep love for music and dancing. Known as the dancer of the family, she never missed an opportunity to get her nephews and loved ones on the dance floor. Her joy was infectious, and her laugh unforgettable. She especially loved the ocean and found peace and happiness near any body of water. A true giver, Ronda would offer her last dollar to someone in need. She had a remarkable ability to see the bright side of life and brought light and comfort to everyone she met.

Ronda was a proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her growing family. With 19 nieces and nephews and countless great-nieces and great-nephews, Ronda was a treasured matriarch who gave generously and loved unconditionally. She will be remembered for her warmth, her boundless energy, her generous heart, and her beautiful spirit. Ronda touched many lives and leaves behind a family and community that will forever cherish her memory.

Ronda is survived by her devoted daughter, Jennifer Allphin; grandson Tristan Allphin; two beloved great grandchildren Taynum Allphin and Wyatt Bandy; sisters Gayle Baker and Jackie Brumback; and her brothers Scott Wolfe and Clyde Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Lee Wolfe and Ron “Ronnie J.” Wolfe.
