Robert H. Wilson

Robert Henry Wilson passed away at home in the early hours of Thursday, January 29, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born on May 26, 1937 in Springdale, Arkansas to Charles and Mary Josephine Hughes McKay. He was preceded in death by his older brother, John Wilson and his grandchildren Ashley and Tyler, and his loving wife of 59 years, Marta McKay Wilson. His is survived by his four daughters Cassandra (Richard) Nicholson, Rinda Shorb, Gwendolyn (Paul) Black, Heather (Jared) Stevenson, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bob served his country in the Air Force. Then he met the love of his life in 1960 and they raised four daughters together. Bob will always be remembered for his generosity, his devotion to his family, and his sense of humor. He loved serving others and was a pillar of strength and friendship in his church and community. He enjoyed serving the Spanish community, learning the language to teach at the local school. We will miss him every day.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bob at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cle Elum. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or a childhood education organization.
