Lynn Nora Beedle, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home near Peoh Point on Friday, July 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family after a short battle with cancer. Born on August 24, 1952, to Joseph and Jenell (Johnson) Groeschell in Cle Elum, Lynn’s life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering devotion.
A lifelong Cle Elum resident, Lynn was the cherished wife of Calvin Beedle for nearly 54 years. Their marriage was a partnership built on love, respect, and shared memories, and it was the foundation of a family that grew to be her greatest pride and joy. Together, Lynn and Calvin raised five children: Aron (Jill), Joanna, Troy (Heather), Dianna (Chris), and Nolan (Brandi). Lynn’s legacy lives on through her children, whom she guided with wisdom, dedication, and a heart full of love.
In addition to being a devoted mother, Lynn was a beloved grandmother to 16 grandchildren: Adam, Liam, Noah, Taylor, Danica, Tyler, Carl, Hunter, Sophie, Samantha, Ashley, Caitlyn, CJ, Luke, Kade, and Quincy. Each of them adored their Granny, and her love for them was boundless, as was her candy drawer. Her nurturing spirit and comforting presence will be missed deeply by all of her grandchildren.
Lynn’s life was marked by kindness, humor, and a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special. Whether she was hosting family gatherings, offering a listening ear, or simply sharing a cup of coffee with one of her sisters, Lynn’s warmth and generosity were always evident. She had a gift for bringing people together and making them feel like family, and her home was a sanctuary for her family and many of their friends over the years.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Jenell Groeschell and sisters Caroline Nelson and JoAnn Koch. Lynn leaves behind a family that will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, sisters Betty (Bill), Gayel, and Cherie as well as a host of other family who were touched by her kindness and love.
We take comfort in knowing that Lynn’s legacy lives on in the love she gave and the lives she touched.
