Lorna Kay (Vose) Jones, 58, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Cle Elum. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Cle Elum.
Lorna was born on August 25, 1966 in Brewster, Washington and grew up in Cle Elum where she attended Cle Elum-Roslyn schools. As a child, she was an extra in The Runner Stumbles and cherished her memories of spending time with Dick Van Dyke. Later, she attended Eastern Washington University in Cheney.
Lorna worked as a Medical Assistant at Cle Elum Family Medicine and later as an Escrow Assistant for Darrel Ellis and Stewart Title. As a lifelong softball player, Lorna was active in helping to start the “Mouse About” - a softball tournament to raise money for those in the community fighting cancer. She also loved spending time at the family home on Hood Canal with her husband, Aron, and son, Kayden.
Lorna is survived by her husband, Aron Jones of Cle Elum; her brother, Paul (Tammy) Vose of Medical Lake; four nephews, two nieces, two great-nieces, and her two dogs, Lucy and Summer. She was preceded in death by her son, Kayden, and her parents, Robert and Karin Vose.
Graveside services will be under the direction of Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum.
