Lori Jean Lembke

Lori Jean Lembke, age 65, of Ellensburg, WA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 11, 2025.

Born on July 1, 1960 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa; she was the beloved daughter of Don (Brick) and Lois (Madsen) Wilson. She graduated from Rolfe High school, Rolfe, IA. After graduating from high school, she worked in both the retail and insurance industries, where she was known for her quick wit and friendly nature.

She had a deep love for dogs and found joy in the companionship they brought to her life. When her health allowed, she enjoyed visiting family, spending time at the beach, and watching her grandson play baseball - moments that brought her true happiness. Those who knew her would remember her easy laughter, and the way she could make anyone feel welcome.

Left to cherish Lori's memory are her daughter Michelle McDonald, sister Diane Streit, her grandson Brayton McDonald, and many friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Lois Wilson, fiancé Nick Schoolcraft, and her beloved dog Koda.

The family is deeply grateful to the friends, neighbors, and caregivers in Washington who helped her through her health struggles. A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
