It is with deep love and sorrow that we share the passing of Kenneth Wayne Eaton, who went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 1, 2025, after courageously battling pulmonary fibrosis for five years.
Ken was born on October 9, 1950, to Jack and Beneitta Eaton. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent over 30 years as a plumber, owning and operating his own business, Reliable Plumbing. Beyond his trade, his true joy was found in the wide open spaces as a cattle rancher, first at his treasured home in Plains, Montana, and later when he returned home to help his parents on the family ranch.
Ken had a deep love for horses, family, and the simple beauty of life on the ranch. He was happiest on horseback, surrounded by those he loved, and his strong faith guided him through every season of life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda Eaton; daughters Heather (Roy) Carbajal and Nikki (Brent) Nierman; and his cherished grandchildren Myranda Trenky, Kaitlyn (Nick) Rud, Kade (India) Nierman, Hannah Nierman, Lexxus Nierman (John Baldwin), and Adyson Nierman. Ken was also blessed with great-grandchildren Thomas, Ethan, and Isaac. He is also survived by his mother, Beneitta Eaton; brothers John Eaton, Bob (Peggy) Eaton; sisters Kathy Wise and Sherry Eaton; and many nieces and nephews. as well as many beloved friends.
Ken’s legacy of faith, hard work, and love for his family and friends will live on through all who knew him. Though his earthly journey has ended, we take comfort in knowing he is now whole again, riding in heaven, free of pain, and forever in the presence of Jesus.
Ken’s family will host a celebration of his life at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Mercer Creek Church in Ellensburg.
