The memorial service for Katrina Lynn Lind will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the Rock Church, 514 E. 3rd, in Cle Elum with Rev. Jeff Knight officiating. Mrs. Lind, 54, a longtime Kittitas County resident, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in Baker City, Oregon following a probable cardiac event.
Katrina was born October 8, 1971 in Arlington, Washington, the youngest of five children born to Jean and Eula (Stockdale) Wallace. Katrina spent her childhood growing up in Arlington with her four siblings, where she would develop her love for the outdoors where she attended the Arlington Christian School.
Katrina met Edward Lind in September 1998 when they were attending the same church. They hit it off and began dating, got engaged on December 24, 1998 and later married on June 5, 1999 in Mt. Vernon. Together, they shared 22 years of marriage and their relationship was a testament to the faith that brought them together.
Over the years, Ed’s career with Fred Meyer took the couple from Burlington to Spokane before moving to Ellensburg and putting down roots in the valley. In search of a slower pace, they moved to Cle Elum in 2021, where they became members of the Rock Church. Katrina had a deep faith in the Lord and those left behind take great comfort in knowing she is in Heaven. She will be remembered for her compassion, love of scrapbooking, and excellent enchiladas. Her legacy lives through the countless acts of kindness and love she leaves behind.
Katrina is survived by her loving husband, Edward Lind; siblings Angie, Lonnie, Dee and Kim; and is also remembered by extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.johnston-williams.com
