Kathryn Ann (Scott) Wyatt, 99, died May 28, 2025, in Spokane, Washington. A private graveside service will be held at the IOOF cemetery in Ellensburg, Washington on June 14, 2025.

Kathryn was born on April 25, 1926, in Brownstown, Washington and she spent her childhood in the lower Yakima Valley. She graduated from White Swan High School in 1944 and then moved with her family to a cattle ranch in the Kittitas Valley in 1946.

Kathryn met Marvin Wyatt at “Calf Roping Club” and they married in 1950. They were married for 63 years. She also enjoyed a lengthy career as a kitchen supervisor for the Central Washington University Dining Services.

In 2014, upon being widowed, Kathryn moved to Touchmark Senior Living in Spokane to be near family. There, she entertained her many new friends by playing old familiar tunes on the piano.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wyatt; son, Les Wyatt; parents, Helen and Orval Scott; sisters, Hazel (Buddy) Rogers and Doris (Marion) Haumeser; as well as her brothers Fred (Anna) Scott and Ed Scott.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Dr John Floyd of Spokane; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons– Brennan (Lauren) Floyd, Aiden and Bowen, of Spokane; Dr Anne Floyd of Phoenix; and Ryan (Kristin) Floyd, Colson and Brody, of Spokane.
