Bruce Fisher

February 12, 1941 — May 11, 2026

Thorp, Washington

On May 11, 2026, Bruce Fisher, age 85, went home to be with the Lord. His family will honor his life in a private ceremony.

Bruce was born on a farm in Mohall, ND, February 12, 1941 to Leonard and Ora Fisher. He has two sons, Tony and Tim and a daughter, Stephanie. He is survived by Judy, the mother of his children, two sisters, Virginia Johnson and Helen Anderson and one brother, Jerry Fisher. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bobbie, brothers Duane, Richard and Kenneth Fisher, and his sister Joan O'Connell.

Bruce worked for his dad in ND doing construction work until he moved to Auburn, WA. He spent a good portion of his life as a Machinist. He later settled in Thorp where he worked as a ranch hand for the Black Angus Cattle Company. For many years Bruce and his wife Bobbie ran a drug and alcohol recovery business in Ellensburg.

During retirement Bruce filled his days with his Bible, puzzles, crafts, woodworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others with house repairs and projects. He found great joy in his flowers and loved his garden peas. He always had a hug to share and his favorite saying was always “Better days ahead”. Those that knew Bruce also knew he loved the Lord and now he is resting in his forever Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Ellensburg.
