On May 30, 2026, Becky Ann Holmes passed away in Wenatchee, Washington, surrounded by family and friends. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, those who knew and loved her will forever cherish the kindness, generosity, and warmth she brought into their lives.
Becky was born on May 29, 1969 in Ellensburg, Washington to Kenny and Peggy Holmes. She grew up surrounded by family and carried that love with her throughout her life. Family was always at the center of who she was, and some of her favorite memories were made camping, spending time outdoors, and picking huckleberries with her father.
Throughout her working years, Becky was employed at The Copy Shop and Snyder's Bakery, two places where she built lasting friendships and became known for her friendly nature and caring heart. She later returned to The Copy Shop, where many in the community came to know her.
More than anything, Becky will be remembered for her generous spirit. Even when she had very little, she always found a way to give to others. Whether it was a favorite treat, a small gift, a crocheted creation made by hand, or something she simply thought another person would enjoy, she rarely arrived empty-handed. She spent many years helping with the annual Toys For Tots event giving back to many children in the community.
Her grandchildren McKenly and Addison, with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who looked forward to seeing her. They knew she often came bearing goodies, surprises, and fun treasures. She found tremendous joy in making children smile and took pride in being the aunt and great-aunt who always made every gathering a little more special.
Becky loved her dogs, enjoyed crocheting, was a tie-dye fanatic. Mostly though she treasured the simple moments spent with family and friends. Those who knew her best remember her kindness, her thoughtfulness, her sense of humor, and her ability to make others feel loved and remembered.
Becky is survived by her daughter Nevada Caillier (Kliff), granddaughters McKenly and Addison, sisters Diane Anthony and Debbie Lee (whose husband Dale preceded her in death), and her father Kenny Holmes (whose wife, and Becky’s mother, Peggy preceded her in death).
Becky’s memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in the Evenson Memorial Chapel at Johnston & Williams Funeral Home in Ellensburg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Ellensburg. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.johnston-williams.com.
