Kayden Adams Obituary

Kayden John Adams, 15, lifetime upper county resident, passed away at his home in Cle Elum on April 8, 2018. A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Cle Elum-Roslyn elementary school gym. Kayden was born on September 29, 2002 in Ellensburg to Aron Jones and Alexis Adams. He grew up in the upper county, attending school both in Cle Elum and in Easton. He was presently a freshman at Cle Elum-Roslyn High School. Kayden was a very vibrant and energetic young man. He enjoyed spending time outside, particularly spending time at Hood Canal on the Puget Sound. He was also an avid adrenaline junkie - riding motorcycles, snowmobiles and his BMX bikes - basically anything that would give him some awesome GoPro camera footage. He also enjoyed video games and building models out of Legos. He and his friends also spent many hours in his grandfather's garage - their version of a "man cave". Kayden is survived by his mother, Alexis (John) Schroeder of Easton; father Aron (Lorna) Jones of Cle Elum; half-brother Devin Swesey of Ronald and step-brother Ethan Schroeder of Easton; grandparents Steve (Nancy) Jones of Cle Elum, Michelle (Rob) Drenberg of Cle Elum; aunt Kodi Jones and uncles Marc Boyer, Mark (Brandi) Hammette, Brooks Adams and Dustin Adams. Memorial contributions in Kayden's honor are suggested to your local suicide hotline or other crisis agency that can help prevent a tragedy like this from happening again. His family wishes to express to all people, young and old, that there is help available when you feel in crisis and suicide seems like the only way out. Please, from the bottom of our hearts, seek help. Cascade Funeral Home of Cle Elum is caring for the family. Online condolences may be left at www.cascadefuneralhome.com
